Accidentally in Love

Ben was walking towards St. Jude's when spotted Haley talking to Serena. He wanted to talk to her about the phone call last night. "Hey,' He said and looked at Haley. 'Can we talk for a second?"

Haley nodded and smiled. "Sure." She put on her sunglasses. "I'll talk to you later S." She followed Ben outside. "What's up?"

"Do you remember callingf me last night?" Ben asked.

Haley nodded, "Vaguely. Please tell me I didn't say anything embarrassing."

He smirked a little. "You might of mentioned liking me." Ben told her. "And fireworks."

She thought for a minute as she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "Yeah. I may remember that. Sorry about calling you and putting you on the spot like that. I wasn't thinking properly."

"I kind of figured. It's fine, it's better to figure things out now. Have you seen the latest Gossip Girl blast?" He asked.

She nodded and shifted her bag to her other shoulder, "Yeah. I saw it the other day." Haley took of her sunglasses and winced when the light hit her eyes. "Look, I really do like you Ben."

"After everything you told me yesterday, I believe you." He grinned. 'So if I told you right now, that I really liked you too, does that make us official?"

Haley shrugged and grinned mischievously. "I don't know. Do you think you could handle the fallout when Nate finds out?"

"He wouldn't be that mad would he?" Ben asked.

"Nate worries about me. More than he should and yeah, he might freak out a little bit but he'll get over it." Haley said with a shrug.

"I've dealt with people a lot more intimidating than Nate Archibald, I think I can handle it." Ben said as the warning bell rang.

"Glad to hear it." She said with a smile. "I guess we'd better get to class."

"Yeah, I guess. Have lunch with me?"

Haley nodded and smiled. "Sure thing."

"Great, I'll see you later!" He said and kissed her quickly on the cheek, he wasn't really big on public displays of affection.

"See you later." She said with a smile. Haley watched him walk off before digging in her bag to find her cell phone so she could text Serena as she walked to class.
