Shopping trip with Diana!

Serena linked arms with Diana and walked into Saks. She had to constantly remind Diana to try to fit in, and stop looking at things like they were from another planet. "Stay here.' She instructed. 'I'll pull some things for you." Serena walked over to one of the racks and searched through it. She pulled out her phone and sent Haley a text. Done yet?

Haley hailed a cab and sent a quick text. On my way, She typed, Where are you guys?

Saks She wrote, then stuck her phone back into her purse. She grabbed some dresses off the rack and turned back to Diana.

Haley told the cab driver where to go and quickly got out of the cab before paying the driver and walking into Saks.

Diana tried to stay still, but Serena was taking too long. She was too excited about the thought of getting new clothes, and not have to worry about representing her self as a lady. This was the adventure she was waiting for. Diana moved to the back of the store, 'I can find my own outfit.' She said to herself.

Haley spotted the two and walked over. "Hey you two. How's the shopping trip going? Did we reach Chuck's spending limit yet?" She grinned and looked over at a rack. "Speaking of spending, I need an awesome dress for the dance."

"We havn't spent anything yet, considering someone can't stay still." Serena said, looking in Diana's direction.

'I'm sorry,' Diana said, looking at the floor. 'This is just so new to me."

Haley looked at Serena. "Let's see what you got. Pick out something and then Serena and I will tell you if it looks good or not."

Diana grinned and made her way over to one of the mannequins. "I like this." She said pointing the metallic gold mini dress.

Serena looked to Haley and shrugged. "What do you think?"

"Depends on what she pairs it with but it could work. It's no worse than some of the stuff you pick out." She laughed.

Serena rolled her eyes and laughed. "You have a point."

"I want to wear it on my first day of school!" Diana told the blonds.

Haley shook her head. "You can't do that. We have to wear uniforms. Or at least, those of us who don't like to be sent home wear the uniform." She looked at Serena. "Yes, I'm looking at you Serena."

"It's not really a day dress, anyway." Serena said to Diana. "But, maybe you can wear it to Haley's party."

"I guess you're right. It does look rather fancy."

Haley nodded, "Yeah. It'll look awesome for the party." She smiled, "You should definitely wear it."

"Is there going to be dancing at your party?" Diana asked.

Haley shrugged. "There might be. I know that there will be music and food and drinking and maybe dancing." She grinned. "Probably with Serena and Mr. Fletcher."

"If he even shows up.' Serena said, ' Do you think he will?"

Haley shrugged. "Maybe. I know that Ben sent him a text about it."

"Oh, speaking of that.' Serena reached into her purse, and pulled out a cell phone. "Diana, this is for you. You can't fit in without a cell phone." She smiled.

Diana took the phone and look at it. "Thank you, but I don't know how to use this."
