Houston, we have a problem....

Haley thought for a second. "I don't even remember talking to her either. It doesn't make sense. Maybe she's doing someone else's dirty work?"

"She could be," Ben nodded. "But then that just brings us back to the beginning. Who?"

"Maybe Tru?" Haley suggested. "I know that she hates me and Serena."

"Maybe, I mean she has motive, and Krista ill listen to anything she says.."

Haley sighed, "I just don't get why someone would be that malicious."

"Who knows.. some people are just born with bad intentions I guess." Ben shrugged. 'We'll get to the bottom of this, it just might take some time."

"If you say so." Haley said, "Until then, we'll have to lay low. Gossip Girl clearly has an ax to grind."

"Yeah, tell me about it. Looks like no more parties for awhile." He teased.

Haley rolled her eyes. "Trust me. If Nate has anything to say about it, I'll be shipped off to a convent by the end of the week."

After a few minutes of silence, Ben randomly said. "So, we have a pool in my building. Sometimes I like to go at night, no one is ever there."

Haley grinned. "Well, we could always have a pool party. I highly doubt anyone will bring brownies to a pool party."

"I've always wanted to do that." He said. "Plus, my mom made me take a life savers course, so we won't have to worry about anyone drowning...unless it's me, then I'm screwed."

Haley laughed. "You're not screwed! Serena dated a life guard. I'm sure he maybe taught her at least the basics."

"I really hope I don't have to find out.' He said and then started laughing at something else. "One time, Krista was convinced she was a mermaid. It was hilarious."

Haley laughed. "Is that why you had to take those classes?" She shook her head. "Wow. That's pretty sad."

"No,' He laughed. 'The classes are for the same reason as being student body president, they look good on paper." He shrugged.

Haley nodded. "Yeah. Grandma was thrilled when she heard I was running. She said that law schools really like to see stuff like that." She shrugged and sighed. "I don't know. It just seems like sometimes Grandma's pushing what she wanted for Mom on me."
