Pool Party

"Ok, ok. I get it. I can't change what happened."

"Oh, please, don't argue."

She sighed. "We're not."

Haley folded her arms across her chest. "If Ben said that he had never seen it before, what could have attracted it? I don't get it."

Serena shrugged. "Maybe Chr- Mr.Fletcher will know."

Chuck raised his eyebrows. and glanced at Serena. "Since when are you on a first name basis with the teacher's assistant?"

"He was Eric's mentor before he was Mr. Fletcher." She said, and stepped out of the elevator as soon as the door opened.

Haley exchanged a look with Ben at Serena's comment then quickly recovered and said, "Okay, so you have salt, right?"

"Last time I checked,' He nodded. 'You guys can pick a room and change. I'll get the salt." He said.

Haley nodded. "Alright. That sounds like a plan to me."

Chuck nodded and brushed past the rest of them to change.

Serena returned, from one of the guest rooms, in regular clothing and waited for the others.

Ben went into his room and quickly changed. He then went into the kitchen and found the salt shaker.

"So, Haley said when she met up with the others. "Ready to do some research?"

"Yeah, I think I understand why Nate was afraid to go near the pool now."

"Believe me, when I told him that story, I had no idea that things like that could actually happen." She turned to Diana. "Sorry about this. I know you were looking forward to a pool party and instead you got an encounter with the supernatural."

"This is much more interesting." She grinned. "Nothing like this has ever happened to me before."

Haley smirked. "Welcome to the dark side. Alright. Let's go find Mr. Fletcher."

The elevator opened immediately. Once everyone was in Ben pressed the lobby button. When the elevator opened the second time Ben was the first one out. He walked over to Mr. Fletcher who was there waiting for them. "Got it." He said, holding up the salt.

"Good. I think I may have found a few leads as to what your ghost is." He cleared his throat awkwardly. "They're in my apartment though."

Chuck shrugged. "There are 5 of us. Just say that we're working on a class project."

"No ones here to see us anyway... does anyone else we know live here?" She asked Ben.

He thought for a second. "Tru. She lives on the 9th floor, I think."

"She's probably out partying. I highly doubt we have to worry about her." Haley said. "Come on. Let's hurry before anyone sees us."

They got into the elevator for what felt like the 100th time. There was less room now, Serena was between Haley and Chris. "Which floor?" She asked since she was closest to the buttons.
